Saturday 17th March

After the hectic WRG weekend last month this Saturday was a a bit quieter. We amused ourselves by moving aqueduct wall stone away from the big Ash tree in preparation for removing it. We  also continued clearing the top of the aqueduct and lock chamber.  Further progress was also made with our archaeological survey.  The flood water levels around the site have not gone down much (if at all) and there is the feeling of working on an island.
